The JSI will provide travel awards to young researchers who submit an abstract for Workshop from Asia-Oceania region outside of Japan to the 44th Annual Scientific Meeting in Sapporo (November 18-20, 2015). The application deadline is July 31, 2015.

Grant

Each awardee will receive 100,000 JPY for travel support, be free of registration and have an opportunity to give a presentation in the poster session at the meeting.

Eligibility

Young immunologists, such as graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, are eligible to apply for travel awards to participate in this meeting.

Also please note that no eligibility for the past awardees.

Selection

The organizing committee of the meeting will select up to 20 awardees from abstracts submitted for the awards, and awardees will be notified by e-mail no later than August 28, 2015.

Documents required for application

1. Name, postal address, e-mail address and curriculum vitae of the applicant.
2. Copy of Notification for abstract submission via e-mail.
3. Up to five relevant publications by the applicant.
4. A recommendation letter from applicant's supervisor.

The set of the documents should be sent by postal mail to the Conference Secretariat of the 44th Annual Meeting of JSI as shown below, before July 31, 2015.
